President, The Ranson Group Inc.Ms. Sharon Ranson is President of The Ranson Group Inc., a company that offers Executive Coaching and Consulting services. She is also a Corporate Director, serving on both corporate and non-profit boards. They include the Board of Governors for CI Investments, Western Life and Bank West (both wholly owned subsidiaries of Western Financial Group) and MEGA Brands as well as the Advisory Board for the School of Business at Queen’s University and The Children’s Book Bank. Ms. Ranson spent over 20 years in the Financial Services industry in executive positions where she worked at both large and small firms. She was a top ranked Financial Services Analyst and Managing Director with RBC Dominion Securities and was a senior Portfolio Manager with TAL (CIBC). Ms. Ranson is a Chartered Accountant and holds the ICD.D designation. She graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Commerce and holds an MBA from York University. Ms. Ranson’s love of travel comes from spending her childhood in Asia. Born in India, she later moved to Singapore where she attended high school. Now she resides in Toronto and loves to spend time at her cottage in Georgian Bay with her husband and two teenaged children. |
