Corporate DirectorRetired from Bell Canada, Louis A. Tanguay managed every aspect of telecommunications operations in a career spanning from year 1957 to 2001. He held a number of executive positions in Canada and abroad within BCE companies. These include the President of Bell Québec (1992 to 1998), President of BCI (1998 to 2001) and heading the Bell Canada 3-year re-engineering program (1995-1997). He has extensive corporate governance experience acquired as a Board Director of several public companies in the fields of telecommunications, cable television, food processing, health care, retail and wholesale distribution and airport management. Mr. Tanguay holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University (1975). He was also the recipient of the Frosst Medal, awarded to the highest ranking student graduating with a BComm degree. Married with two children and five grand-children, Mr. Tanguay continues to play an active, leading role in the community through both business-related and non-profit organizations. |
