Managing Principal, Alderidge Consulting

Alnasir Samji is on the Torstar Board of Directors, Chair of the United Way of Toronto Board of Trustees, and Chair of the Canadian Studies Program Advisory Committee at University College (University of Toronto). He is also a member of the Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology Pension Plan Board of Trustees, and the Canadian Board Diversity Council’s Steering Committee.

Alnasir has previously served as President of the Aga Khan Council for Ontario and Secretary of the Holy Trinity School’s Board of Governors, and has chaired committees of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries.

Alnasir is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries and the Society of Actuaries, with over 30 years of experience in pension and actuarial consulting. He is the Managing Principal of his own consulting practice, Alderidge Consulting Inc., which he commenced in 2006. Alnasir has served as a Principal of Towers Perrin, where he consulted in developing and implementing strategic pension solutions for significant Canadian clients, headed professional divisions and business units, and managed professional standards.
